Paul has developed extensive expertise in media relations and media planning, with media launches and online profile being an area of specialisation. Paul has also gained extensive experience in managing business and financial PR campaigns. In 2007, he co-founded the UK’s first online-only business media website and app, www.TheBusinessDesk.com after raising a total of £1m of private equity funding. During his 7 years leading the technical side of the online publishing venture, Paul gained unique insights into how PR, digital publishing and SEO can be optimised to generate sales, a core aspect of Appeal’s strategic offering.

She has a strong track record of working across a diverse range of sectors with a focus on professional services, manufacturing and food and drink.
Sarah Hone is a journalist with 15 years of business writing experience. She was previously senior staff writer at The Insider regional business magazines. Adept at spotting and developing the strongest news angles and producing informative, creative copy, Sarah’s PR experience spans a wide range of successful campaigns for clients in both the private and public sectors.
Caroline has worked in public relations for over 20 years, both in award-winning PR agencies and inhouse at the National Media Museum; securing game-changing coverage across national, regional and online media. She has worked with a plethora of owner-managed businesses, helping them to use the power of PR to get known and noticed. Caroline combines her love of PR strategy, writing and photography to get profile-boosting results for clients, getting them in front of the right people, with the right story at the right time.
Helen has a diverse background having previously worked for law and accountancy firms as well as holding roles within the NHS. The knowledge and experience she has gained have provided her with a thorough understanding of the commercial environment.

Richard has been involved in search marketing since 2004 and worked on many projects directly with search engines, publishers and commercial companies. He is an accredited Google AdWords partner with considerable experience in running CPC campaigns. With an in depth knowledge of current SEO and content marketing he is able to make the most out of campaigns for Appeal clients, and strengthens our considerable digital and online publishing expertise.
A digital marketing professional with 15 years’ experience within the marketing industry specialising in B2B and ecommerce. Originally starting his career as a PR account manager at Appeal in Yorkshire, Jamie specialised in digital media and evolved into a multi-faceted member of the Appeal team. Jamie works from his Devon base to deliver search-focused and lead generation integrated PR campaigns alongside his Yorkshire colleagues.
